June 7 – 10   WEEK 1     
Musical Theatre Camp:
  9a-12p ($90)
Grades 1st – 4th
 
Children will learn musical selections
from some of Broadway’s greatest
musicals including Annie, Westside Story,
The Sound of Music, Oklahoma and Billy Elliot.

The week will include activities like making props, a Sound of Music puppet and posing for head shots! Children will learn audition tips, basic vocal technique and warm up every day with ballet! The week will end with a fun Broadway sing-a-long!

June 21 – 24   WEEK 2
Austin Music Camp:
  9a-12p ($90)
Grades 2rd – 5th

Children will explore the heritage that makes Texas music so rich with song writing lessons, a visit to the Texas Music Museum on E. 11th, and experiencing a live performance. They will learn basics in vocal pedagogy and prepare a country audition piece along with learning how to two-step and swing. The week will end with the students planning and performing their own Live Music Festival for parents.

City School is located at I-35 and Woodland Ave. Checks made payable to Christy Munger. The limit is 10 slots per camp. *Snacks provided

What: a time for fellowship and fun with                other City School families!

Bring a picnic lunch for your family, (water, cups and paper goods will be provided)
a folding lawn chair or a blanket, outdoor toys or your bathing suit!

There is a wonderful, free pool at the park if you’d like to go for a swim after the picnic.
